Eagles don’t see Jalen Hurts as a gadget QB

The Philadelphia Eagles stunned everyone when they used the 53rd overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft to select Jalen Hurts out of Oklahoma.

The surprising pick prompted many to wonder if the Eagles see Hurts as a Taysom Hill-type gadget player. After all, Carson Wentz landed a monster contract extension recently and is widely considered to be one of the NFL’s most promising young stars.

Responding to all that on Saturday morning, Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report made it clear that “the Eagles don’t see Jalen Hurts as a gadget QB.” He noted that Hurts might end up being used in that capacity early on, but finished by writing “they see him as a potential star QB who can step in for Wentz if/when he goes down.”

To Freeman’s point, Wentz already has a history of injuries in the NFL, so it makes sense

Multi GPU Support
Just a note for those that want to have multi gpu support, I have two GPUs and I run the GPU meter twice. Just make sure that the two instances of it are pointing to two separate cards.
By the way…LOVE the gadget!

DriveInfo Gadget Review – A Free System Monitoring Tool

Microsoft discontinued all desktop gadgets for Windows Vista and Windows 7 due to serious vulnerabilities. We recommend following Microsoft’s guidance and NOT using any desktop gadgets.

The DriveInfo gadget is one of our favorite system utility gadgets for Windows. There are plenty of useful options including several background and icon choices, but overall it’s still an easy to use Windows gadget.

The DriveInfo gadget displays the remaining free space on your hard drive(s) in both percentage and GB format. There’s even a handy progress-type bar that graphically displays used disk space.

Pros & Cons

Aside from missing a small option, DriveInfo is a must-have system utility gadget:

What We Like

  • Isn’t confusing to use

  • Very simple to read

  • Contains several background and icon choices

  • Several options provide flexibility in drives displayed

  • Doubles as a drive shortcut list

  • Can display more than one drive at once

Epson EH-TW9200W, 2400ANSI, FullHD 16:9, WiFi, 2x 3D-Glasses

My third projector will be installed this evening 🙂

  • from 2005 – 2008 Panasonic PT-AE900
  • from 2008 – 2015 Sanyo Z2000

It is a big upgrade from my Sanyo Z2000. I currently have a Dalite TENSIONED COSMOPOLITAN ELECTROL 16:9 HDTV 133”. This screen has always looked to sparkly on the whites during viewing. It is even worse with this new projector.

Why this model and not the Panasonic PT-AE8000 (first out in 2011 now for 1770 CHF)

Better than the Panasonic PT-AE8000 for me because

  • Latest technology: model first available in end of 2013,
  • 2 HDMI on the back only but wireless transmitting (+5 HDMI) = 7 HDMI in total,
  • 2D-to-3D conversion,
  • Frame Interpolation,
  • 2 x 3D glasses are included,
  • Wireless HDMI,
  • Panasonic has a 2000 hour limit which ends warranty coverage. No hour limit on Epson.
  • But all in all more expensive (+1000 CHF).
